Elevation: 4600 Ft.

Difficulty: Moderate, concrete trail with handrails

Accessible: Parking with paved surface, restrooms and Visitor's Center

Location: Pactola Lake - Black Hills Forest Service Visitor's Center on US Highway 385 north of Hill City, or 20 miles west of Rapid City

The trail overlooks Pactola Lake and the surrounding Black Hills.

The Visitor's Center is accessible to people with disabilities. The center is open daily (from Memorial Day through Labor Day) and includes informative exhibits on Black Hills plant and animal life, geology and history.

Pactola Reservoir offers other facilities that may not be accessible to people with disabilities including: boat ramps, picnic areas, a marina and swimming beach.

Campsites: Accessible campsites available at Pactola Loop C, sites 2, 4, 22 and T-8.
